The 1909 in Los Angeles, CA

Whether you've been planning for days or years, I can guarantee that you know one thing- that wedding photography is important! That's why you're here in the first place, right? Your cake will be eaten, your flowers will fade, but your photographs will last forever. Choosing the right photographer is important, and I'm sure you have questions. So I'm here to help! Here are some FAQ's to help us start getting acquainted.

Where can I view full wedding galleries?
Full wedding galleries are a great way to view how I photograph a wedding from start to finish rather than just my highlight portfolio. They can be viewed HERE

How much do you charge?/ What packages do you offer?
I encourage my prospective clients to contact me regarding packages. I will send you a pdf with my most up to date and popular packages, and then we can go from there getting into specifics of your day and coverage! I do this because each wedding day is unique, and your needs may not match the needs of others in regards to coverage time, add-ons, travel costs, etc.

How many photos do I receive?
This of course varies depending on a variety of conditions, but my general rule of thumb is about 75 per hour of coverage. I do provide all photos that are usable, and unique. Meaning, I'd rather not give you 10 identical shots, and instead pick the few best.

How much do you edit your photos?
Post- processing is the most time intensive part of your wedding as I work hard to ensure each image meets my personal artistic standards and style. Every photo has my custom look applied (which can be viewed in my portfolio and full galleries), and is adjusted for things like color and brightness. Beyond that I do not attempt extensive Photoshop or body altering unless specifically requested-  as a personal philosophy I do prefer to keep things as natural looking as possible.

How long will it take to get my photos back?
6-8 weeks! Depending on how long your coverage was, and if it's busy season (around April-October).

How will I receive my photos?
That handy link above to view full galleries is also how you will receive your own gallery! A unique download code is emailed to you, and all you have to do is pop it in, and download your gallery. You can also purchase art quality prints, products, and albums through that same gallery.

Do I have to purchase prints/ albums from you?
Nope! With your digital files you are free to make prints, products, and albums anywhere you'd like. If you do order through me, I use premium printers to ensure that your prints will last for generations to come. I cannot personally guarantee the print quality of places like Costco and Target, however, you are absolutely free to do whatever feels right to you.

How do I book my date?
To have your date officially booked, a signed contract and a flat $500 deposit are required. The contract is online and super easy, and I accept a variety of payment methods for the deposit. Your date isn't officially booked until both these things are in, and dates do fill up fast for Spring and Summer especially!

What if you're booked for my date?
I have a list of some amazing photographers that I am happy to refer you to on the chance that I am booked. I also offer the option to have an associate shooter of mine actually shoot your wedding, but I would still be your contact for everything, as well as the one editing your photos. Many photographers shoot similarly, but editing is where we really differ. I guarantee my editing style and look of work for all my associate photographers.

Do you travel for weddings?
I do! However, due to my sweet baby and that #momlife, I will need plenty of notice. Please inquire if you're interested!

How did you get into wedding photography?
I never in my wildest dreams thought I would grow up to be a wedding photographer in Los Angeles. What?! Growing up photography was an artistic hobby I used in place of journaling- I actually still do that by making photo books instead of keeping a traditional journal or diary. I started experimenting (for lack of a a better word) with family photography, and through meeting some other amazing people in the industry, I helped them on their own wedding days and got a taste of wedding photography. This was in 2016, and I was hooked. I have only grown more and more deeply in love with wedding days and photography since then.

Why do you love photographing weddings?
It's often said in the photography world that you either love to shoot weddings, or hate it. And I love it. The first wedding I shot was as an assistant, and I fell in love. Every wedding is unique and special in it's own way, and yet at the end of the day, two people madly in love get to commit themselves to each other forever. How cool is that? I deeply hope that we can chat soon. Please contact me through the "Contact" link above.
