It's always exciting to me to be able to photograph old friend's that I haven't seen for a bit. Especially when they're HAVING A BABY. It's been ten years since I graduated high school (Santa Susana High School Class of 2010). And in those ten years many of my friends have gotten married, moved away, had babies, are having babies, etc. So to be in a profession where I am able to see these lovely people again and be there to witness these special moments, is something I am so grateful for. El Matador Beach is like the holy grail of beaches for photography in the Los Angeles/ Malibu area. Because of that there's always tons of other shoots going on no matter when you go- even in winter! I had the privilege to photograph Tessa and Brian and their little one(s) in Corriganville Regional Park in Simi Valley.
