Chelsea's Simi Valley Winter Bridal Session

Posted By Holly Castillo Photography on Saturday 15th April 2017

I'm finally getting around to blogging this session on my own, and honestly I don't know why it took me so long because this was one of my favorite sessions to date. In January part of this session was featured on LDS Bride Blog (A blog specifically showcasing Latter Day Saint/ Mormon weddings). See It Here! Chelsea was married in 2011 in the Los Angeles Temple, and never had time to do a bridal session, so I was happy to do this session for her! We did this session in late December in Corriganville Regional Park In Simi Valley, (a favorite of mine) and even in the middle of winter California is still a golden dreamland.

Take a special look at Chelsea's bouquet- it's made of burlap and lace! It's actually my bouquet from my own temple sealing in 2016, and was purchased from a talented Etsy seller. I let Chelsea use it for her shoot and I think it completed everything so well. Bouquets don't have to be made of flowers to be beautiful!
